One of many all female bands signed to Sub Pop in the early 90's, 7 Year Bitch, despite being labeled as part of the riot grrrl movement, chose to not accept that tag and embraced their Grunge standing as being an original punk rock band from Seattle. Their guitarist, Stefanie Sargeant, would be one of the many casualties of the unforeseen success Grunge had in the 90's, when she over-dosed on heroin in 1992.
