Lovely piece of pop freakbeat with trippy backwards drums! This 45 was released in 1967. Tages, from Gothenburg, Sweden, wasn’t really a garage band, they were among the most popular beat bands in Sweden. But since I have many international followers I decided to share this little gem anyway. Flip is a great cover of The Easybeats Friday on my mind. Although they sold well, you don’t see this 45 that often out in the wild, and if you do they’re often quite beat.
