To anodize a bolt, the bolt is first cleaned and then submerged in a sulfuric acid electrolyte solution. A direct current is then applied to the bolt, causing an oxide layer to form on the surface of the bolt. The thickness of the oxide layer can be controlled by adjusting the strength of the electrical current and the duration of the anodizing process.
The resulting anodized bolt will have a hard, corrosion-resistant coating that is durable and long-lasting. Anodizing can also be used to add color to the surface of the bolt by dyeing the oxide layer with various colors.
