So finally we get to the day where our new council is sworn in. Michael Feyen is now fully sworn in as Mayor. And Ross Campbell the Deputy Mayor. We can expect some wonderful things from this council. This meeting was particularly unusual due to the extreme positive energy present. Not exactly typical for these types of events, especially around here. The first part of the meeting was the Maori ceremony, then after refreshments the actual inauguration started.
