In August 1955 Elvis signed a “Special Agreement” management deal
with Hank Snow + Col Parker. The following November Col Parker signed Elvis to a record deal with RCA. At that time Bob Neil was still Elvis’s official manager. His managed contract with Elvis expired four months later.
Bob Neal bowed out gracefully but stayed on friendly terms with Elvis.
Technically Bob Neal was Elvis's second manager. In the early days guitarist Scotty Moore acted as Elvis's manager.
