What happened to the OnlyFans Star Carol Maltesi will shock you. It all started in March of 2022, when a passerby in northern Italy noticed a hand with purple glitter nail polish, leading to the discovery of a dismembered and frozen body in a ditch. The victim was identified as Carol Maltesi, a former adult film star known as Charlotte Angie. She was half Italian and half Dutch, living in Milan, and had recently gained popularity on OnlyFans after losing her job during the pandemic. She had realized despite having a job as a sales assistant at a perfume boutique, the OnlyFans garnered a lot of attention in which she could really profit from.Fast forward to March 2022. A passer by, is the one who had found her after she had been murdered. Maltesi's body had been cut into 15 pieces, frozen, and wrapped in garbage bags. Investigators identified her through her tattoos, despite her face being burnt. The search led authorities to Davide Fontana, Maltesi's neighbor, who confessed to the murder. According to Fontana, the murder occurred during the filming of a violent sex tape in January 2022, when he brutally assaulted and killed her, later dismembering her body and disposing of it in the Borno Highlands.
After the murder, Fontana continued to use Maltesi’s phone to create the illusion that she was still alive, even paying her rent and messaging her friends and family. He was eventually arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated murder, dismemberment, and desecration of a corpse. The case shocked Italy, especially since Maltesi was a single mother. The trial attracted widespread attention, and updates continue to be shared on social media.
