The Axe Drops is Tempus Cucumis’ first single, released while they are working on their eighth full album. This single is an expanded version of its namesake, the third track from Mini Mouton, their fifth album, released in 2021. That album was an experimental demo CD, serving as a prog-rock soundtrack to Kirsanoff’s 1926 silent movie Ménilmontant.
