A 12-year-old boy was one of two children killed in an overnight Russian “glide bomb” attack on a residential apartment block in Kharkiv, north east Ukraine.One adult was also killed and 35 people were injured in the attack which took place in the middle of the night when most residents were in bed.
The aunt of a 15-year-old boy said he was killed in the “room where everything just collapsed”, according to Suspilne, Ukrainian broadcaster.
Russia used a highly explosive FAB-500 bomb to strike the nine-storey block, according to Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv’s governor.
