
Doctors said the hospital’s four surgical suites were full, and the team of surgeons improvised surgical spaces in corridors for many who require life-saving intervention.
“We take it one hour at a time because we don’t know when we will be receiving patients," said surgeon Mohammed al-Run.
The Indonesian hospital in the enclave’s north is the only operating in the area and lies directly on the border with the front line al-Run added.
Doctor Moaeen al-Masry had said damage was caused to some of the hospital’s units on Monday (October 30) which impacted its power cables, adding that the fuel used to power generators was running out.
