Open Mic Night is something I host for Northern Ales in Kettle Falls, WA...and it's a fantastic opportunity for kids, seasoned players, up & comers across the board. It allows everybody to have a fairly realistic gig experience in a room we make as inviting as possible, without just smoothing over every edge that pops up (there are still time constraints and the occasional technical glitch, as with any gig, large or small).
