So to be completely honest, I didn't really enjoy Fury Road, it was very action packed with a lot of big action set pieces like the chase scene that this song is from but really apart from this scene it just felt a bit boring to me. (Sorry any hardcore Mad Max fans out there).
Apart from me not enjoying the film, I have to say that it is visually one of the most impressive and refreshing. A lot of the Marvel movies and DC, and pretty much every movie goes for the desaturated orange and teal colour scheme and they all feel very similar but this one is pretty cool with it being super saturated. I tried to recreate the colour grading as best I could just to try and give a different look to the video and I think it turned out pretty well!
If any of you have watched the Marvel Symphonic Orchestra video (I would highly recommend it) you'll recognise this song from the video. The video talks about temp music, where a director takes music from another score and puts over a scene before the composer has written an original piece for it. In this case, the temp music was Taking a stand from The Winter Soldier soundtrack, so it has a very familiar feel and that's possibly why this was one of the only scenes in the movie that I enjoyed.
Form now on the videos are going to be on Wednesdays, it works out nicer for me and I have more time to work on them. I can't (or rather don't) record any videos at the weekend because my family is home and I don't want to be annoying them by having super loud music playing all day, so to get the video out on Monday I have to record the video on either Thursday or Friday which only gives me pretty much 3 days to finish the song. But now doing the videos on Wednesday, I can work on the song over the weekend and record them on Monday or Tuesday which is an extra 2 days to work on the song.
