IM Vantika Agrawal and Divya Deshmukh were the two Indians to win Game 1 of Round 3 at the Women’s World Cup 2025! Vantika defeated GM Kateryna Lagno with White, while Divya scored a strong win with Black against IM Teodora Injac. GMs Koneru Humpy, Harika Dronavalli, and Vaishali Rameshbabu drew their games against IM Klaudia Kulon, IM Stavroula Tsolakidou, and IM Carissa Yip respectively.
