Anne Bonny: Born around 1698 in Ireland, Anne Bonny was the illegitimate daughter of a lawyer and his servant. She moved to the Carolinas with her family, where her fiery temper became legendary. Marrying a small-time pirate, she later joined forces with the notorious "Calico Jack" Rackham. Disguised as a man, she sailed the Caribbean, her ferocity in battle unmatched. Captured in 1720, she escaped the noose by claiming pregnancy. Her ultimate fate remains a mystery, adding to her enduring legend.

Mary Read: Born in England around 1695, Mary Read was disguised as a boy by her mother to claim inheritance. She served in the British military, later turning to piracy. Joining "Calico Jack" Rackham's crew, she fought valiantly alongside Anne Bonny, both women concealing their true identities. Captured in 1720, Mary also claimed to be pregnant to delay execution. However, she died in prison in 1721, likely from fever, her life a testament to her daring spirit.

These two women defied the conventions of their time, leaving behind tales of adventure and audacity on the high seas.

Lyrics:
I was born in Ireland, a fire in my soul
Ran away from my father, couldn’t fit the mold
Met a pirate man, and oh, how we’d roam
With Jack on the high seas, I found my home

I was raised as a boy, a secret to keep
Fought as a soldier, and sailed on the deep
When the truth came out, I didn’t care
I took to the pirate life without a fear

Anne Bonny, Mary Read, pirates wild and free
With Calico Jack, we ruled the sea
No mercy, no shame, our hearts full of flame
Living for the plunder, glory was our name

Cutlass in my hand, I feared no man
Aboard the Revenge, we sailed every land
With a crew of outlaws, we’d pillage and fight
Under the Jolly Roger, we lived for the night

I joined Jack’s crew, with Anne by my side
Two women with swords, no place to hide
We fought like demons, fierce and strong
In a world where we knew we didn't belong

Anne Bonny, Mary Read, pirates wild and free
With Calico Jack, we ruled the sea
No mercy, no shame, our hearts full of flame
Living for the plunder, glory was our name

Captured one night by the governor’s fleet
But we fought to the end, we wouldn't retreat
The men surrendered, weak and frail
But Anne and I stood tall in the gale

"If only you'd fought like men, you wouldn't be hanged like dogs."
"We lived as legends, even when the law was wrong."

Anne Bonny, Mary Read, pirates wild and free
With Calico Jack, we ruled the sea
No mercy, no shame, our hearts full of flame
Living for the plunder, glory was our Name

Now our tales are told, from shore to shore
The pirate queens who wanted more
We lived our lives with no regrets
Anne and Mary, they won’t forget
