Second album from New York drone and doom metal group Khanate (featuring former OLD members Alan Dubin and James Plotkin along with Sunn O))) axeman Stephen O'Malley), originally released in 2003 on Southern Lord. This is the Japanese version released in 2006 by Daymare Recordings which includes three bonus tracks from other limited releases.

Khanate are no longer active, but you can purchase digital copies of their discography and some recent vinyl reissues (with bonus tracks) from Hydra Head at these links:



Also worth checking out is vocalist Alan Dubin's current band Gnaw, who carry on some of the spirit of Khanate in a more industrial style. They've released two albums to date and have a new one coming out soon:
