
This stretch of Livernois Avenue between 7 Mile and 8 Mile became a destination for shoppers after World War II, but the decline would start a couple of decades later. Now, a surge of new restaurants and specialty shops are filling vacant storefronts.
Contributor Bill Kubota, senior producer for @onedetroit, visits the Avenue to talk with business owners about the increased foot traffic at the popular shopping destination.
