This is Etude No 17 Opus 35 by Fernando Sor (Segovia Edition No 6). It is written in the key of D Major and it features a beautiful, melodic dialogue between the top voice and the bottom voice. The harmonic progression is absolutely beautiful, and by the way, I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that Segovia changed that B7 chord at the end into a B Minor chord. Both sound great, but the original composer should have the last word on the notes written on paper.

The guitar is a Kremona Rondo R65CWC which I’ve been enjoying for a few days now. It features a solid Cedar top and Bulgarian Walnut back and sides. The pickup is a Fishman. Great guitar!
