Is it summer yet? Here’s a fun little video of something that will make a big impact for new and old Riverdance Mini-Jig owners! One of the benefits of a plastic frame is flexibility and jigs need a little flex. The harder the machine has to work the more the frame flexes, and if the back and forth is too much it starts to dampen the up and down jigging action.
These cool little corner brackets are quick to make. Not only that but ai can make them from scraps! I love finding efficiencies.
Once they are mounted, a rigid aluminum plate can be affixed to arrest that pesky back and forth motion. On the Pioneer Peak models (2 stages) the plate spans both units for ultra smooth operating!
