AT COLORADO:
2023 (So.-RS)
Played in the first two games of the season, before a season ending injury.
Played primarily on special teams.
2022 (Fr.-RS)
Played in three games defensivly and recorded one tackle.
Third on the team with 16 special teams points with nine special teams tackles.
Named the special teams captain against California.
2021 (Fr.)
Redshirted; did not see game action.
Suited for three games.
Named the Special Teams Scout Player of the Week for the Arizona game.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played running back, receiver and safety for Durango, which steadily improved his three seasons there, from 6-5 his sophomore season to 8-4 as a junior and then a perfect 8-0 record in the COVID-shortened senior season helping the team to a league and state championship.
In his career, he had 67 receptions for 1,012 yards and 12 touchdowns, carried the ball 61 times for 617 yards and nine touchdowns on offense.
In all, he had 1,629 yards from scrimmage and 21 touchdowns, averaging 12.7 yards every time he touched the ball on offense. Added 134 tackles, three interceptions, six forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in his defensive career.
As a senior, he was a runner-up for the team's Player of the Year, and Max Preps named him the Player of the Year for both offense and defense, when he was also All-State and All-Conference at both positions. That season he rushed 48 times for 556 yads and eight touchdowns, had 18 receptions for 227 yards and three scores on offense and totaled 32 tackles, two interceptions and a sack on defense.
Junior season he was named honorable-mention All-State as a receiver and named first-team all-conference at both receiver and safety.
He had 49 receptions for 785 yards and nine touchdowns and carried the ball four times for 23 yards on offense and added 54 tackles on defense with six forced fumbles, one tackle for loss and a fumble recovery.
Sophomore season he was named all-conference as a safety. That season he carried the ball nine times for 38 yards and a touchdown and had 48 tackles and an interception on defense.
Also played baseball and wrestling at Durango.
In baseball, he hit .400 with 12 stolen bases.
Named first-team All-Conference in wrestling with an overall record of 15-3.
ACADEMICS
He was on the honor roll all four years at Durango and graduated with a White Robe, indicating above a 4.0 grade point average.
PERSONAL
He was born Jan. 20, 2003, in Litchfield, Minn.
Parents are Robert and Karyn Finneseth and has an older brother Alex, and two younger sisters Anna and Brie.
His dad, Robert, was a three-time All-American wrestling at North Dakota State.
Grew from 5-11, 120-pounds to 6-1, 185 pounds during high school.
Hobbies include lifting, playing yard games, "Jeeping," skiing, boating, hiking with friends and going on adventures.
