Elon Musk and DOGE are addressing fraud and schemes that drain taxpayer dollars, with a focus on social security number misuse.


A significant number of social security numbers, over 2.1 million, were issued to noncitizens in 2024, raising concerns about fraud.


The investigation into fraud led to the unexpected discovery of over five million noncitizens receiving social security numbers.


Many of these individuals, who entered the U.S. illegally, were found to be on voter rolls and had participated in voting.
