A tremor starts to begin
My heart stops with an impending dread
I look outside
The world I knew has declined
Into a state of distress and disease
The trees they weep
While the sky is black and bleak
An eerie sound of silence abounds
The earth it cracks
Swallows all and spits back
A human race with their brains in chains
The people I once knew
Are lost in apathy
The all begin to chant
The curse that brings disease
They tear apart their flesh
And eat each others eyes
Once left bled dry and blind
They all begin to rise
I start run
My mind is panic stricken
I try to find somewhere to hide
I see the sky
Blackened by the bodies
Of the ones whose minds have declined
They coalesce
Their presence starts to oppress
All the light that exists in world
Slowly a divide
Appears to split night
A hand of hate tears through the sky
Terror begins its descending and we have our realization
That this enemy is ridden with anticipation
Of a wrath and revenge they we thought was finally at an end
But the horror that we left on a desert planet
Returns to the world that won’t have it
And begins to feed on viscera rain

The world outside is terrified
While I still search for sanctuary
I run and run until it's done
Until the darkness overcomes
I finally fall into crevice
Where all the others found distress
It’s there I finally hear them speak
The words to my death peace
In the earth’s divide

I found my friends at peace
Holding hands and making plans
