Mark Vos a.k.a. Buzz Fuzz started his career as a House DJ in 1991 after playing Hip Hop and R&B from 1986 to 1990. In the year 1992 he won the Dutch House DJ Championships and he started producing tracks due to the fact that the first price of the championship was a release on Midtown-Records. Not much later Buzz Fuzz produced records for Combined Forces and eventually for ID&T where he began his own record label, BZRK Records which is one of the best selling hardcore labels in the world today.
DJ BUZZ FUZZ also is part of the legendary Dreamteam (together with DJ Gizmo, DANO and DJ The Prophet). In 1997 and 1998 his colleagues and the readers of Thundermagazine nominated him Best producer in the Hardcore scene. Also he was chosen the best record label and the best remixer of the year.
Buzz Fuzz has played all over the world in such places as Australia, USA, Canada and of course all over Europe. Together with his associates Rob Gee and Gizmo he started TRIPAX Records in 1996. Nowadays Buzz Fuzz appears on various kick-ass labels such as TRAXTORM, D-BOY, and ADAM RECORDINGS and of course you'll find him a lot on his own label BZRK. Some smashing tracks by his hand are: Frequencies, Hey!, XTC-Love & Jealousy is a M.F.
Today - more than a decade later - he's still busy with producing hardcore and DJ-ing all over the world. Also he started a new label called STUKA RECORDINGS which contains a new style of hardhouse with an oldstyle/hardstyle/hardcore feeling in it but of course with really hard kickz & basses. How the hell that happened?
Vos begon zijn dj-carrière in 1987 met het draaien van onder meer hiphop en swingbeat in discotheek Zorba te Amsterdam, samen met een oude schoolvriend, Champ-E-On. In 1991 bezocht hij in de Jan van Galenhal in Amsterdam voor het eerst een housefeest, waar hij The Prophet hoorde draaien. Hierna schakelde Vos over op house en draaide hij al snel gabber op grote feesten en festivals als Hellraiser, Thunderdome, Dance Valley en Multigroove.
In de hoogtijdagen van de hardcore house reisde hij naar vele landen voor optredens. Samen met DJ Dano, The Prophet en DJ Gizmo vormde hij het collectief The Dreamteam. Zowel in 1997 als het jaar daarop werd Vos uitgeroepen tot beste hardcorehouseproducer. Hij maakte remixen voor platen van onder meer 3 Steps Ahead, DJ The Prophet, The Masochist, Public Domain, Jeremy, Daydream & Maddy, Da Beatblower, Critical Mass, Masoko Solo, The Lawyer, dj chosen few, DJ Promo, Placid K, Rotterdamterrorcorps, The Alternative Creators, DJ Gizmo, The Darkraver, T-Wisted en Rob GEE. Daarbij maakte hij naast de naam Buzz Fuzz ook gebruik van de pseudoniemen Pino D'Ambini, Stuka DJ, Bertocucci Feranzano, Vox en Bumble Bee.
In 2004 richtte hij zijn eigen hardhouselabel Stuka Recordings op.
Buzz Fuzz maakt daarnaast ook deel uit van het legendarische Dreamteam, samen met Gizmo, Dano & The Prophet. In 1997 en 1998 nomineerden zijn collega’s en de de lezers van Thundermagazine hem voor Beste Producer van de Hardcorescene. Hij werd ook gekozen als beste label en beste remixer van het jaar.
Buzz Fuzz speelde overal ter wereld, van Australië tot de USA en van Canada tot Europa. Samen met Rob Gee en Gizmo begon hij Tripax Records in 1996. Tegenwoordig verschijnt Buzz Fuzz op verschillende labels zoals Traxtorm, D-Boy en Adam Recordings en natuurlijk zijn eigen label BZRK. Enkele bekende titels: Frequencies, Hey!, XTC-Love & Jealousy is a M.F. Hij produceert nog steeds veel en draait over de hele wereld.
