Hello internet, 🟢 Vital is really good at manipulating wavetables, making it one of the best candidates for creating new wavetables out of older ones (or what I like to call, recycling wavetables). However, to get the best results, Vital should be configured correctly.

➡️ For this example, I used a PWM FM wavetable that I manipulated using the inharmonic stretch spectral morph algorithm and a phaser filter. To get a smooth wavetable out of this configuration, both the filter and the spectral morph should be modulated using a ramp-up (or any shape, really) LFO set to a rate of 4 seconds. This is important as Vital gives the best and smoothest results at the rate of 4 seconds. Also, the octave and phase of the main oscillator should be set to 0.

✅ Now all you have to do is right-click on any of the other oscillators (which should be turned off) and choose resynthesis to new wavetable.
