What is Sprint Zero?
In scrum methodology, sprint 0 is a controversial topic. Some professionals do not consider that it exists. However, we cannot deny that there are some teams who already spent some time before the start of sprint.
Before the formal start of a product development, sprint 0 takes place. Sprint 0 is a preparatory sprint. There is no product increment delivered.
During this period, there are some sets of activities done by a team in preparation for commencing of the sprints, such as identifying the tools, tech stack, databases ,conducting requirement elicitation sessions and capturing requirements in the form of product backlog.
