Sole album from Finnish industrial doom/black metal band Woods of Belial (formed by members of Moonsorrow), originally released in 2003 on Firebox Records. This is the 2009 reissue which appends three tracks from their previous demo, which fit nicely alongside the album material.This remains quite a unique-sounding album, incorporating elements of industrial noise and dark ambiance with deep, mid-paced doom riffs accompanied by layers of synth.
