Highlights of the Day:
* Membership Meeting: The day kicked off with the general membership meeting, where the console honored members for their years of service and reviewed old business.
* Exciting Games: Starting at 9am, Hubbell Fire Department organized four challenging yet fun games for around 28 teams. Regardless of age or experience, everyone had a blast!
* Food and Beverages: Hubbell ensured everyone was well-fed and hydrated throughout the day.
* Parade: At 4:30pm, the Disco Inferno-themed parade showcased creative floats from each department. Following the parade was an impressive display of firefighting apparatus from various departments.
* After Party: The festivities concluded with an after-party featuring live music from the Band Outlaws. Firefighters in uniform enjoyed free entry and a complimentary first drink.
Witnessing the joy and excitement of the volunteer firefighters and their families was truly heartwarming. I'm humbled to have been invited to this incredible event.
