This man came across an apple stand late one night but realized that no one was there, so he walked around the truck and knocked on the window. Turns out, the vendor was sleeping inside his truck. It's his home at night.
He will need to finish selling the apples before he goes home. The man asked about the apples, they were selling for $5 per kilo. The man let the stranger have a taste of his apple for free. Then, the visitor asked to buy 100 kilo of the apples. Which made the vendor very confused. So the man jokingly clarify that it's just for taste test and that the's not going to pay for them. The vendor, still not catching on to the joke surprisingly agreed, telling the man that as long as he comes back the next day to buy more apples. Of course, he'd only have the stranger's words that he'd return. This apple vendor was taking a huge risk trusting the words of a stranger that he'd return.
Luckily, the man did clarify again that it was a joke. He noticed signs by the truck's wall, they were missing posters of children. Indeed, the apple seller even let parents and organizations post flyers for free.
He's also a family man, he has a wife and a child at home, as well as his parents to take care of. His wife stays home with the child and his parents tend to the apples trees, while he works a day job. When the apples season is here, he would go sell apples. He's been selling for a month and knew that he wouldn't be able to sell all the apples in time to go home for new years's.
Hearing this, the man was generous to help. He decided to buy all the apples, and even gave some out to nearby street vendors as well as to his students. Now that's a rich man we can all rally behind! What do you think about his gesture? Let's hope he continue to be successful!
