Five minutes of quick mixing while I give this new laser light a try.This is the SAHAUY laser available on Amazon. I found the sound-activated mode pointless, it basically turns the whole program on and off when sound is detected, instead of changing the specifics of the light's motion, pattern or color. Made more sense to just leave it on "AUTO" mode. Although there are three other sound-activated modes that I haven't tried yet. So, to be fair, maybe the others are better. I don't know. This isn't really a review post about the laser itself.
The Christmas trees, spirals and other dumb, random shapes it projects don't matter when you're using it as a back-light beam projector like this.
Overall, this was cheap and it will work for adding a little sparkle to livestreams and live gigs. Good enough.
