"We are a huge platform. We are a platform that the industry listens to and wants to be a part of. And we also generate a lot of awareness globally, you know, twice a year. So, with all of that in mind, we found that there was a great potential to transform the event into an actual platform for driving positive change in the industry."

9. SOUNDBITE (English) Rolf Ekroth, Finnish fashion designer:
"I think if you are a bigger company and you have sort of stuck with this is how we'll do it and this is how we have to do, it might be a challenge, but we're such a small company, it's not difficult. And I do all of the choices myself. So, we started already during the pandemic to try to figure out how to always do the greener choice, so to say. So, it's become like second nature and manufactures, stock material, people who sell them, there's so much more nowadays. So, it's not an issue."

11. SOUNDBITE (English) Yoko Maja and Anna Myntekaer, co-founders, Bonnetje:
Anna: "We always like to drape with existing garments and find new designs that way. And I think for us, it was kind of silly to make something and then make it again in new material. So, I think that's how it happened. And then suits was because it's just super interesting. It's got all these layers and it's just yeah."
Yoko: "Yeah, like, there is so much material in the suit. Like, literally, like, because of the lining, the horsehair and the beautiful materials, all the pockets, we just love it."

13. SOUNDBITE (English) Yoko Maja, co-founder, Bonnetje:
"The signals the suit has is that it's such a classic masculine uniform that most people can relate to in the whole world. So, it's recognizable, and then we like to deconstruct it and make something completely new, and that's just very fun, and we just like to work that way."
