Bob Ebeling 'Field Recordings' EP circa 2021-2022.Using a stereo Schoeps 501 microphone, I recorded at night and during the day. I then treated the files as musical parts, making collages of sound. The photography was often done simultaneously as the recorder was rolling. Wolcott Mill Park in Macomb County, Michigan was a favorite destination. The Silo is on 30 Mile Rd. between Romeo Plank and Kuntsman Rd. The bridge is on Wolcott Rd. Other field recording spots are in Oakland Township, including Cranberry Lake Park and Watershed Ridge Park. Other locations include Holland Ponds and River Bends Park off Ryan Rd. in Macomb County.
