For a week in June 1964, drummer Jimmy Nicol was a - Beatle for a week.
Ringo was down with tonsillitis and Jimmy Nicol stepped into the breach.
He had previously been with skiffle group Colin Hicks and the Cabin Boys, his own group, The Shubdubs and Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames.
In 1965 he joined the Swedish group The Spotnicks.
