From the liner notes: "I have been working with the Chicago-now Denver based artist, Jaeser (aka Josh Felix) for nearly 20 years in the background of my other projects. This guy has serious talent on so many levels and really brings the lyrical fire to whatever project we collaborate on. For those who know my 'Jazzyspoon' project well enough, I have used vocal samples of his for several of my tracks over the years. But we technically never really finished anything but a few of the songs, one of which I released in my more compilation style albums (the broken heartist). Well, I am pleased to finally share some of these in an official release after all of these years. There is a lot more on the back burner where this came from. The biggest thanks to my long time friend and cohort, Jaeser, who helped steer me into paths of music I might not have touched otherwise and helped me grow as an individual and an artist. I owe you many and much, J. Let's have a beer soon.
