This is genius. Did you know that if you insert a lamp socket into a wooden box, fill the inside with sand, and lay metal rods evenly across it—then pour cement on both the top and bottom—it creates something amazing? Once the cement sets, just lift the block and remove the sand inside. After that, install a switch and tighten everything in place. Add a bulb on top—and just like that, you’ve got a stunning, fully functional industrial-style lamp.
