One of the strangest penalties in the history of football was awarded on Thursday in the Saudi Pro League match between Al Hazm and Al Fateh.
With the hosts already one-nil up thanks to Bruno Viana's goal in the 5th minute, Al Fateh defender Fahad Al Harbi thought it was a good idea to high-five his goalkeeper Jaco Rinne in the penalty area.
Instead of finding his team-mate's hand, Al Harbi touched the ball and referee Ahmad Al Rumaikhani was forced to award Al Hazm a penalty following VAR review.
