Description:
In this video we'll have a look on what I consider is the most complicated series of borders. Of course there are more complicated borders, but the ones between Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgystan has to be the most complicated, there are 9 enclaves in total between this three countries.
This odd situation is all because of the USSR strategy to make it hard for all this republics to get independence.
In order to find out the details, you'll have to watch the video.
Feel free to write your opinion about this in the commnets.
Hope you'll enjoy the video!

Did you ever wondered What’s the most complicated border in the world !?
Well, there are many options, but for me, there is one that surpasses them all. I’ll give you a hint, Russia is involved, well, technically not Russia, but USSR.
You see, after the USSR collapsed, 15 new independent states emerged, but these three here: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan that seem to have had a hard time drawing their borders. There are 4 Uzbekistan enclaves located in Kyrgyzstan and also one Kyrgyz enclave located in Uzbekistan. Looking also at Tajikistan, there are also two Tajik enclaves in Kyrgyzstan and one Tajik enclave inside Uzbekistan.
Of this set of enclaves, this territory of Uzbekistan within Kyrgyzstan borders called Sokh is particularly special. Ignoring it’s weird shape, what makes it special is that although it’s a fully sovereign territory of Uzbekistan, 99% of the population here are ethnic Tajiks. All of these are the result of the Soviets strategy to make it difficult for those republics to try to become independent countries.
