This starts with a sample of rain. The same sample is sliced and used as drum samples on the Digitakt for tracks 1-5. Mother 32 is being sequence with the Digitakt and the Arbhar is used for added texture on the second half of the track
This was a challenge for the Facebook group Hardware Jams, and was a continuation of last weeks theme. The challenge is as follows:
You turn around and the old man already walking though a door that you hadn't noticed until now. You can hear his heavy shuffled steps falling onto metal stairs. You want to walk away but it's as if you don't have a choice. It's as if you watch yourself walk though the door into a bright room all covered in white paint and chrome fixtures. It's so bright that it takes the entire walk down the stirs to notice the bus sized object in the middle of the basement. Its oval shaped and covered in a massive sheet. It has no hard edges and seems to be floating. The old man grins and motions for you to have a look. You can hear a rhythmic sound coming from behind the sheet. As you walk forward all the hairs on your arm stand to attention. You grab a handful of the sheet, pull the veil back and…
