Maybe it was my reflective mood, but this Bath-based band swept me easily into their flow, channelling a deep flowing current of feelings with a raft of well-crafted and engaging songs. Delivered by the heartfelt vocals of frontman, Rob Spalding, the songs were enhanced beautifully by the sympathetic electric guitar, cajun and double bass. The arrangements occasionally had an early Genesis feel, embellished by the use of emotive synths with an overall feel of English folk tinged with charismatic jazz and even a bit of progressive rock!
