Friends, this week I bring you a clip from one of my favorite sections of Guitar Speak, my online course that is all about building your ability to listen to your sound, get the best out of the gear you have, and generate a unique personal touch on the electric guitar.I made this section because I wanted to help players dial into the unique acoustic character that every electric guitar has. I also made it because I am a nerd and this stuff interests me, but I digress.
I used an inexpensive contact mic to see if I could identify different sonic characteristics between several guitars. In this clip you can hear my Ronin Mirari and Koll Tornado.
