The Tree of Life. 🌳✨
Thomas steps closer, awe and desperation mixing in his eyes.
A trembling hand touches the bark—
but it bristles with sharp spines, defending itself. ⚔️🌑
Carefully, he cuts into the trunk.
A pale, milky sap seeps out.
He dares a taste. 💧👄
Sweet… powerful… dangerous.
Then, a drop falls.
The earth blooms instantly—
flowers erupt where it lands. 🌸🌱
Life itself, flowing from the tree.
Overcome, Thomas smears the sap on his wound—
and in a flash, the injury vanishes. ⚡🩹
He gasps. Laughs. Cries.
The miracle is real.
But joy turns to frenzy.
He drinks greedily, clutching the trunk,
letting the sap flood into him. 🌊🔥
Strength overwhelms him, more than mortal flesh can hold.
He whispers to his lost queen:
“My queen… now and forever… we shall be togeth—” 💍❤️
The promise breaks in pain.
Agony seizes him, his body twists,
and the miracle becomes a curse. 💔💀
