
After all these years in the business, realizing that I've been conned by marketing is a real kick to my pride. But, even I'll admit that I've been had.
Call me crazy, but I don't think it's too much to ask for a restaurant to offer high-quality food in a portion size that will fill me up. I'll be the first one to pay a fair price for a meal like that.
But to see the prices on a menu and then be served a ridiculously small portion of food just sucks. If I'm still hungry when I leave a restaurant, you can bet your @ss that I'll never go back there.
In this economy, none of us have the money or patience to waste on a disappointing meal.
