On an adventure as remote as our trip down the Denali Highway in Alaska, being self-reliant isn't just a good idea—it's a necessity. These traction boards are your get-out-of-jail-free card when you get into trouble. If I slide off the road or find myself in deep mud, snow, or sand, I can simply wedge these under my tires. The aggressive cleats grip the tire tread and the terrain underneath, providing the critical traction needed to get my heavy Ford E350 van unstuck and back on the trail.
