Pecoe has released a lot of music lately and has decided to slow down and focus on producing high quality electronic funk tunes and this concept really shines through across all 4 jams on this release.
Starting off the EP with the James Brown in-fused crowd pleaser called So Nice, which throws down some big funky grooves and catching vibes. Followed up with the My Business which perfectly combines some sweet dance vocals with some heavy hitting golden-era Hip-Hop flows.
Moving on with the straight-up funky Gonna Do It Right which has all the right elements for a funk jam – from the wah-wah guitar to the filthy saxophone. Finally Pecoe takes us the final funk journey with the Funky Dope who takes a dip into the oldskool hiphop and some steady rocking breakbeats.
