We are excited to bring you deeper into the creation of one of our new songs, with a live performance video of Sassafras, from our new album Leylines. Sassafras is an ode to the bittersweet, southern trinity that rocked us, raised us, and laid us down. Appalachia, Atlanta, and the Louisiana swamp all lie in these lyrics. Sung through memory and nostalgia, it’s a remembrance of the things to carry forward and the things to leave behind. In a time of seemingly great scattering and unrelating, an adoration of home.
