Philippines Cebu: Serene Beaches, Stunning Sunsets and Juicy Mangos in Camotes Island.

This is the video of my journey to the Philippines. As you may already know, The Philippines consists of many islands and the first one that I have visited was Camotes Island.

The Island was small, and not crowded at all. Local people were extremely nice, probably the nicest people I have met during my journey.

I have stayed there for about three days, and even so, I have managed to have a lot of fun. For me to get there I had to take a bus from Cebu city to Danao Port and take a ferry from there to Camotes island. It took me about 2.5 hours to get to the island, because the ship was quiet slow. I was also allowed to get inside the ferry cabin and witness the process of controlling the boat and even had a chance to steer for a bit. =)

0:14 When I arrived at the island our resort included the pick-up service, so we were picked up by a small van. Mangodlong Paradise Resort was truly a paradise-like place and there were not a lot of people staying, but only because it was during the weekdays. The resort had its own private beach, everything was tidy and every day I could see people cleaning the beach and the pool. We also got a chance to snorkel, there was not much fish, but we still managed to see a couple, along with crabs and pretty sea shells.

The next morning we have found a local guide, who also owned a motorbike. We had to ride the bike with the three of us, which was fun. The guy was really friendly and took us to five famous places in Camotes: Paraiso Cave, Danao Lake, Bakhaw Beach, Buho Rock and Santiago Bay.

0:49 Paraiso Cave, had a pretty garden on the outside of the cave, and inside the cave there was a pool with fresh water, where people could take a dive.

0:55 Danao lake was a large lake, with not many people there. There were many fun activities to do. You can ride a kayak boat, run in a water ball, ride horses, take a boat tour around the lake and try the most amazing mango smoothie.

1:48 Bakhaw Beach was just a beautiful empty beach, where you can swim, tan and chill.

3:07 Buho Rock was one of the best attractions. There were two rocks, that people could jump from and it was scary but super exciting. There was also a beautiful spot with shallow water, where we saw cool sea creatures, various shells and corals.

4:05 Finally, the last destination was the Santiago Bay. There were many cute cafés there, where people could try some amazing local dishes and drink coconut milk. This was also the beach where I have seen the most beautiful sunset in my life. Everything was literally pink and unfortunately, I only took a picture of that.

When you visit The Philippines, Camotes is a great quiet island with not a lot of people. If you want to chill and you don't like crowded places, this place is for you!
