Dr Ali Aminian (Cleveland Clinic, US) shares the findings of the SPLENDOR study. The study assessed the association of metabolic surgery with major adverse cardiovascular and liver outcomes in patients with biopsy-proven non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. SPLENDOR reported a treatment modality that is associated with decreased risk of major clinical endpoints in patients with NASH.
