Bose Companion 2 III and Audioengine A2+ are two compact powered speakers very popular amongs the computer users. They represent two different price brackets thought, so it is interesting to hear if A2+ is worth the extra money. As You probably can hear, A2+ sounds much more natural and detailed but also leaner on bass, while Bose shows usual "Bose sound" meaning it sounds bass heavy with bass smearing lower midrange, and top shy. Bose also has highly manipulated response to push the vocals forward. For casual listetning and YouTube video watching Bose is a decent option, but if You are serius about music listetning and want it true to the source than A2+ is worth the extra.
