"Deep Cut", the fourth track from the "Two Worlds Collide" album, was designed as a dark underground, but commercially structured drum n bass/jungle track. The track explores just how puffed up and dark the Western World is, but through that darkness, God's light still cuts through to give us a hope and a future. An original composition, the track derives influence from bands and producers including @massiveattack, 3D/Delge and @U2official Bono (vocal style), @NeilDavidge, @LeftfieldMusic, @RoniSizeReprazenVEVO and @decoder. Special thanks to @hanheartbreak for her unique vocals and Rick Yates once again for his clever, complimentary guitar sounds. The track is written to combine the gritty, melancholic textures and rhythms of the #bristolsound and #bristolmusic and other influential electronic bands of the time with a #christianworship theme.
