That’s what I love about canvases, they can keep getting layered with more art! I decided to paint over the wood frame we put on the last one for a more seamless look. I can always sand it back to wood on the next paint over!

🌊 I used acrylic paint and I love mixing my own colors so they look true to how I see things. In this case the gorgeous tropical waters we have around us in Hawaii always blow me away with how vibrant the colors are so I really wanted to capture that.

The solo lady in the water I added at the last minute at the end to break up the landscape and add some visual interest. I love the vibe of being solo on the beach, it relaxes me! 😂
