Laser Tattoo Removal Treatment Steps - Tattoo removal process :

1. Consultation and 48-hour patch test: No fake tan or sun exposure prior to treatment. Anaesthetic cream (Emla 5%) can be applied 2 hours before treatment

2. The laser will be targeted onto the ink from your tattoo. This allows the ink particles to be broken down into smaller pieces. Every laser tattoo removal session will target the layers of ink at deeper levels. This ink was hidden by the other layers prior to your first treatment.

3. After the treatment a tandem bandage will be applied which must be kept in place for 48 hours to ensure no foreign particles come into contact with the healing skin. 8-week interval until the next treatment to allow the body’s immune system will to remove ink particles and the tattoo will begin to fade. Follow after-care instructions from your laser practitioner.
