By default, Fusion 360 has a single window – this allows you greater focus into your current workspace. However, sometimes, you want to look at an object from multiple different angles at once!
This is the example model from my Speed modeling a lightsaber video – I will link to that video down below. Right now, I can look at it from one direction by using the view box.

However, I can also go down to the bottom of the page and there’s a button for multiple views. This will pop up multiple different windows inside of Fusion 360. Each one of these windows can have its own view angle – simply click on the window and the little navigation box will pop up in the upper right hand corner and allow you to customize your view.
Note that when you change one view, the others don’t change. In addition, you can also go in and adjust your display settings with different styles for each view. This means you could create a view with xray mode, a view with just shaded mode, and more.
In addition, if you start to make edits, you’ll notice that they show up in all the different windows at one time. This can be especially helpful for giving you perspective on where your changes are happening without having to flip your view around a lot.
Finally, to go back to a single view, just click the viewports option again and select single viewport.
