A simple song I made to highlight the Saidi rhythm, and joined by the lovely and gifted dancer Noorah . Although we were in different locations we found a way to collaborate through the magic of music, dance and video editing.Although Flamenco guitarists do many different complex rhythms, the SAIDI(widely used in Belly Dance) has yet to have it's own Flamenco guitar strumming pattern - so I developed it. It's obvious to me how well the 2 worlds of Flamenco Guitar and Belly Dance work together and I hope to do some more collaborations like this in the future!
